    4. Tapestry needle

    6. Optional: blush or soft pastel for cheeks

Gauge & Finished Size

  • Approx. 28–30 sts = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette in the round on smaller needles.
  • Finished bunny stands about 8–9 in (20–23 cm) tall, depending on yarn and stuffing.

Gauge does not need to be exact, but aim for a firm fabric so the stuffing will not show through.

Construction Overview

The bunny is knit from the feet up in one piece: two legs, joined into the body, then the body and head are worked as one continuous tube. Arms, ears, and tail are knit separately and sewn on.

The clothing and accessories are removable:

  • Dress is knit from the neckline down with a lilac yoke and yellow skirt featuring colorful bobble “confetti” dots.
  • The party hat, shoes, balloon, gift box, and cupcake are separate pieces that can be arranged for photos.

Stuff the bunny firmly as you go, shaping the legs, tummy, and head so she can stand securely and look like the sample.
