Assembly:
Sew the base to the bottom of the back piece. Fix the tree to the center of the back piece. Place optional vinyl or knitted window under the blue bezel ring; whipstitch ring to the back piece, enclosing the scene (add a tiny puff of fiberfill for depth before closing). Attach strap ends to the bezel’s sides. The purse hangs crossbody.

Mini Standing Snowman (C/E/G/H, US 2.5 or 4)

Lower Ball (C): CO 6 sts; knit in the round.
Rnd 1 kfb around → 12.

Sew head to body. With G, embroider two seed-st eyes and three tiny buttons; with H, embroider a little carrot nose; add a few E snow dots on the body.

Assembly

  1. Head Stability: After closing the head, anchor it to the torso with two hidden stitches from back of head to upper back to prevent wobble.
  2. Ears: Sew ears so they lean slightly forward and frame the beanie.
  3. Arms: Ladder stitch arms to the sides just below the sweater’s shoulder line; angle downward.
  4. Dress & Skirt: Put on the striped sweater first, then pull the mohair skirt up to sit at the narrowest waistline.
  5. Hat & Boots: Seat the beanie low with the crown centered; slide boots on and straighten the cuff ribs.
  6. Purse: Drape strap from left shoulder to right hip so the globe rests at the skirt’s front.
  7. Snowman Prop: Place beside the bunny for display.

Finishing & Styling Tips

  • Tension: Keep the bunny fabric tight—8 sts/in—so every stitch reads cleanly and stuffing never peeks through.
  • Color balance: Choose a cool sky blue for B and a truly soft cream for C; the contrast should stay pastel and wintry.
  • Mohair halo: Steam the skirt at a distance to bloom the fibers; avoid over-blocking the waistband.
  • Sweater stripes: Work tidy jogless stripes in the round by lifting the first stitch of the new color at the start of the second round of each stripe.
  • Boot structure: If you want flatter soles, slip a small oval of felt inside before closing the final round.
  • Purse clarity: The vinyl circle elevates realism; if crafting for children, skip vinyl and use the knitted window (softer and safer).
  • Photography notes: Place the bunny on a rustic wooden surface near a bright window to match the look: soft side light, shallow depth of field, and pastel background.
