• Bunny body/inner ear/plate base/tray/teapot/cup: cream (approx 120 g)
• Dress & shoes & beret: blush peach (approx 80 g)
• Cardigan: soft butter cream (approx 40 g)
• Details: strawberry-jam pink/red (10 g), pale rose (5 g) - Needles: US 2.5 (3.0 mm) dpns or circulars for small-circumference knitting; an extra pair for I-cords.
- Tapestry needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn.
- Stuffing: polyester fiberfill.
- 2 safety eyes 6 mm or black yarn for embroidery.
- 3 small round buttons (rose-pink look) for cardigan (you can knit button “dots” instead).
- Small amount of cardboard for plate insert (optional).
Gauge & Finished Size
- Gauge in stockinette in the round, slightly stretched: 28 sts × 38 rnds = 4 in (10 cm).
- Finished height of bunny (without beret): 9.5–10 in / 24–25 cm.
Tight gauge is essential for a polished, realistic stitch texture and clean shaping.
Construction Overview
- Bunny is worked mostly in the round: Head → Body (top-down) with separate Arms, Legs, Ears attached by sewing.
- Clothing and accessories are removable: A-line dress, cropped eyelet cardigan, beret with pom, Mary-Jane shoes, heart-flap hand-bag, jam-tart on mini plate, plus tray with teapot and tiny cup.
- Color notes align with the photo: cream bunny; blush dress/beret/shoes with red hearts; butter-cream cardigan with eyelet texture; cream purse with heart patch; wooden tray color achieved by using cream yarn and optional light-brown fabric pen on the tray rim if desired (or keep all-cream knit).

Assembly
- Block lightly all flat pieces (ears, cardigan panels) to measurements so the pastel stitches look crisp.
- Attach ears: pin their curved bases; sew using mattress stitch.
- Set arms: position just below neckline; angle slightly forward so the left paw can hold the plate, right side can hang the handbag strap. Tack a couple hidden stitches to secure pose.
- Sew legs under body, slightly forward for balance. Test the standing pose on a flat surface.
- Dress the bunny: put on the blush dress first, then the cropped cardigan. Fasten the three rose “buttons.”
- Shoes: slip on and secure the straps to the outer sides.
- Beret: place with a gentle tilt; the 1 in pom sits centered.
- Accessories: stitch the handbag strap across the shoulder/hip so the bag rests at dress hem; secure plate to paw; place tray, teapot, and mini cup on the table beside feet as in the image.
Finishing & Styling
- Use a small brush to “comb” any stray stuffing out of seams.
- For a photo-realistic knit look, keep tension consistent and avoid blocking the stuffed parts.
- Embroidery: keep the nose a tiny beige triangle with a simple smile line—friendly, not cartoonish.
- Hearts: duplicate stitch with jam-pink; keep edges crisp so the hearts on the shoes and the bag match.
- Lighting and display: natural window light, wooden table, neutral background—this preserves the pastel, handmade vibe from the photo.
Recap & Customization Ideas
- The silhouette matches the photo: round head; slim neck; gentle tummy; slightly forward-set legs; upright ears; classic Mary-Jane shoes with hearts; blush A-line dress with bobble-and-eyelet hem; cropped butter-cream cardigan with eyelets and three pink “dots”; blush beret with ribbed band and centered pom; cream mini hand-bag with heart flap; plate with jam-tart; tray with teapot and cup.
- You can vary palette within pastels (mint, lilac, buttercup) while keeping the same construction for consistent results.
- To ensure the stitches read crisply on camera, always knit toys at a smaller needle size than the ball band suggests.
