Assembly
- Stuff & stabilize
Finish stuffing head and body smoothly; insert an optional weighted pouch inside the lower belly before closing legs for balance. - Attach arms
Position arms just below the blouse’s raglan line, angled slightly forward to “hold” the teapot and leaf bag. Sew securely with ladder stitch. - Place ears
Sew ears to the crown with a gentle forward tilt; steam lightly to set the curve. - Dress the bunny
Put on blouse first, then slide on the green skirt. Fold and stitch hems along purl ridges for crisp edges. Attach bib and cross the straps in the back as pictured. - Embroider blossoms
Using light pink, work lazy-daisy flowers across the skirt (denser on the lower half) and a few on the bib. Add tiny green stems/leaves. - Shoes
Fit Mary Janes; secure strap with buttons (or stitch permanently for young children). - Hat
Wet-block the brim over a cereal bowl to get a soft flare. Add the green band and the rolled rose on the left side of the crown. - Accessories
Hang the leaf purse cross-body; place teapot in the right paw (tack with a stitch). Set cup and saucer near the feet if styling for display.
Tips for Photoreal Knit Texture
- Choose smooth, tightly-twisted DK cotton or wool blend—non-halo yarn keeps stitches crisp so the knit grain reads clearly in photos.
- Use magic loop or shift your round start often to avoid a visible ladder.
- Work accessories with a needle one size smaller for sculpted edges.
- After finishing, light steam block garments (not the stuffed body) to lay collars and hems perfectly flat.
Safety & Care
- For toddlers, replace buttons and beads with embroidered knots and stitch accessories permanently to avoid small parts.
- Hand wash gently in cool water; press in a towel; dry flat. Store the hat stuffed with tissue to preserve the brim curve.
Troubleshooting
- Dress rides too high: add two even rnds above the waistband before BO.
- Hat too snug: add one more increase rnd before the brim (e.g., after rnd 10, work k7, kfb ×6).
- Shoes slip off: thread a thin elastic through the upper edge before attaching the strap.
- Ears won’t stand: add a hidden pipe-cleaner core or knit the inner lining with a slightly smaller needle.
