Blocking & Photo Tips

  • Steam the hat brim and skirt hem to set the soft curve.
  • Smooth the tee stripes with a gentle tug so rows line up.
  • For crisp sneaker shape, add a thin cardboard sole insert.
  • Photograph in natural light on a deck or balcony with warm wood and soft greenery in the background to match the beach-day vibe.

Care

Spot clean only. If you used cardboard soles or magnets, avoid soaking. Reshape the hat and sneakers while damp; lay flat to dry.

Quick Troubleshooting

  • Head wobbles: neck stuffing is too soft—add more through the seam.
  • Hat too loose/tight: add/remove one increase round before side walls.
  • Skirt rides up: go up a hook size for the waistband or add one more waist round before the flare.
  • Sneaker tongues curl: lightly steam and pin until dry.
