Intro
Make a cuddly amigurumi calf dressed as a café barista: cream beret, lilac tee, oatmeal apron with pocket and crossbody strap, brown-cream sandals, and a removable bubble-tea sling cup. The face features a peachy snout, safety eyes, and soft blush.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Next round: 5 sc, inc ×6 (48) – This round sets the hip width so the apron hangs naturally.
Work 2 more rounds sc around, then FO and stitch closed to body opening with the tail from the body.
Stuff both legs and lower body firmly.
Arms (Make 2 – Cream with lilac short sleeves)
- With E (lilac) MR 6 (6)

Stuff lightly from palm to mid-arm only. Flatten the opening and sc through both layers across 6 sts to close. Leave tails for sewing.

Tail (Cream with light brown tip)
- With C, MR 4 sc (4)

- Create the little nub: sc2tog ×5 (finish with 5 sts), chain 2, sl st back into next st. FO and weave in. Lightly tack beret to head along the back half so it tilts slightly forward.
Sandals (Make 2 – Oatmeal with cream straps)
Soles:
- With F, ch 8; in 2nd ch from hook sc 6, 3 sc in last; rotate: sc 5, inc (16)
- inc, sc 5, inc ×3, sc 5, inc ×2 (22)

Optional: trace and cut matching cardboard ovals; insert later.
Side wall:

Straps:
- Back heel cup: attach F at heel center; ch 7, sl st to opposite heel, turn, sc 7 back, FO.
- Front twin straps: attach F at outer toe; ch 5, skip 3, sl st; repeat once more 1 st behind the first to create two parallel straps. Secure ends.
Insert the cardboard oval, then sew sandals to the bottoms of the legs so the straps appear across the toes. Add a short brown band (C) on the leg just above each sandal: surface crochet a ring to mimic the photo’s ankle detail.
Apron (Oatmeal)
Bib & skirt in one piece (worked flat):
- Ch 17. Row1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (16).
2–6. ch1, turn, sc across (16) – bib panel. - ch1, turn, inc, sc 14, inc (18)
- ch1, turn, inc, sc repeat to last st, inc (27)
- ch1, turn, sc across (27)
- ch1, turn, 2 sc, inc across (36)
11–14. ch1, turn, sc across (36) – skirt length.
Edging & straps:
- Do not FO. Rotating around, sc evenly down side, across bottom, and up the other side.
- At top corners, ch 26 each for neck loop; sl st back down the ch to thicken; continue edging across the top.
- Make one pocket: ch 9; Row1: sc 8; Row2–3: sc across; FO. Sew pocket centered on bib lower third.
- Make the crossbody strap: ch 62, sc back across; FO. Stitch one end at the right bib edge and the other to the opposite skirt edge so the strap runs diagonally as in the photo.
- Waist ties: ch 30 each side; sc back; FO. Tie at the back.
Optional: add two tiny buttons/snaps at the back edges.
Finishing touches: Surface-embroider three “coffee bean” dots on the bib with C (light brown).

Boba Sling Cup (Cream, Gray, Oatmeal, Brown)
Cup body (Cream):
- MR 6 (6)
- inc ×6 (12)
- sc, inc ×6 (18)
- 2 sc, inc ×6 (24)
5–7. sc around (24) - With brown embroidery thread, stitch 6 small filled circles “pearls” around lower body.
Sleeve (Oatmeal):
- Join F in FLO of Round 6: sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc repeated 6 times to make a gentle ribbed ring. FO.
Lid (Light Gray):
- MR 6 (6)
- inc ×6 (12)
- sc, inc ×6 (18)
- sl st in next, FO with tail. Lightly stuff cup and whipstitch lid on.
Straw (Light Gray):
- Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch and back (4). Roll into a tiny tube; stitch upright into center of lid.
Sling:
- With F (oatmeal) ch 45, sc back; FO. Sew to cup sides opposite each other so it hangs at hip level.
- Add 3 tiny brown knots on the sleeve front to mirror the photo’s dotted texture.
Face & Final Assembly
- Snout: already attached; ensure bottom sits on head Round ~14.
- Eyes: 12 mm placed between Rnds 11–12, 12 sts apart; tighten washers securely.
- Ears: seam-closed ears sewn on Rnd 4 of the head from the crown line, about 12 sts behind each eye, angled slightly downward. Add the cocoa spot to the right ear front if you haven’t.
- Beret: sit it slightly off-center; tack along back and one side so it tilts forward.
- Arms: attach to the lilac yoke at Rnds 8–10 with a slight forward angle.
- Tail: center back above sandal line.
- Apron: dress from top down, tie at the back; fasten crossbody strap. Slip the boba sling cup onto the strap’s front so it rests at the left hip.
- Nostrils & cheeks: embroider two vertical/oblique bars for each nostril; add a few pale peach bars for blush.
- Pose & steam-block (optional): a quick waft of steam evens the apron hem and beret edge (avoid the safety eyes).
Optional Props (Quick Makes)
Mini Sign “CLASSIC MATCHA BROWN SUGAR”
- Cut a small 5 × 7 cm card; crochet a slim teal frame: ch to fit, sc 2 rounds around the card; glue or blanket stitch in place.
- For the stand, crochet a tiny triangle (dc rows) and stitch to the back so it leans.
Counter Trays & Toppings
- Trays: with F, ch 9, sc rows for 5 rows; edge with sc; work a second one in C (brown) slightly smaller and stack.
- Cubes/Jellies: embroider a few dark knots with brown thread to scatter like toppings.
Blender Capsule
- Cylinder in light gray: MR 6, inc to 18, work 7 rounds; switch to cream for a band, then back to gray for two more rounds. Top with a slightly smaller circle lid.
(Props are non-essential; the main pattern above already yields the exact barista calf with beret, apron, sandals, and sling cup as pictured.)
Troubleshooting & Tips
- Head tilts or flops: You likely under-stuffed the neck. Add more stuffing through the body opening before closing, or insert a short dowel wrapped in polyfill for extra support.
- Beret too tight/loose: Adjust by adding or removing one increase round in the beret before the side rounds.
- Apron riding high: Add 2 extra skirt rows or lengthen waist ties.
- Sling cup position: If it swings too low, shorten the sling by 2–4 chains.
Care Instructions
Spot clean with mild soap and cold water. Do not machine wash if you used cardboard in soles; instead remove sandals gently or skip the cardboard when making for small children. Re-shape the beret and apron while damp and lay flat to dry.
