Dressing Order & Final Details
- Pull on the yellow roll-neck.
- Dress in the navy pinafore; cross straps in the back and button.
- Place the newsboy cap slightly forward on the head.
- Slip the loafers over the gray tights and tack at heels.
- Hang the camera cross-body, resting on the left hip.
- Give the tote to the right paw (stitch to palm for display).
- Adjust ears to a soft outward angle; pinch tips slightly forward.
Face Embroidery (already placed earlier)
- Nose: small isosceles triangle (about 3 sts wide); mouth: short split line.
- For a photo-true finish, lightly brush the snout with a soft toothbrush to bloom the stitches, then steam from a distance.
Blocking & Finishing
- Steam block garments individually with a press cloth.
- Pinafore: smooth hem evenly; ensure windowpane lines are straight and intersect cleanly.
- Cap: steam brim and curve it; crown should sit snug but not tight.
- Tote: steam the linen texture to square the corners.
- Trim all ends neatly; secure knots on the wrong side.
Measurements
- Head circumference: ~8.25″ (21 cm); ear length: 3.25″ (8.3 cm).
- Neck to waist: 2.25″ (5.7 cm).
- Skirt length from hem to bib seam: 2.75″ (7 cm).
- Strap length: ~3.75″ (9.5 cm) before crossing.
- Cap crown diameter (blocked): 3.25″ (8.3 cm).
- Tote panel: 2.1″ × 2.4″ (5.3 × 6.1 cm); strap drop: 1.75″ (4.5 cm).

- Shoe sole: 1.7″ (4.3 cm); shoe height at heel: 0.8″ (2 cm).
Troubleshooting
- Plaid looks wobbly: duplicate stitch after blocking; keep yarn on WS horizontal, then tack at intersections.

- Pinafore too loose: shift strap buttons inward 1/4″ (6 mm).
- Loafers gape: whipstitch shoe edge to leg at the inner ankle.
Styling & Photo Tips
Stage the bunny by a small stack of vintage-look knit “books,” seat near a beige sofa or a bookcase. Use window light from one side to highlight stitch definition, with a gentle background blur to keep the knit textures crisp and realistic—exactly the aesthetic shown.
