Finishing & Customization

- Beret band fit: If loose, add one more rnd of BLO sc with a few decreases; if snug, switch to 3.5 mm for the band.
- Shoes: Surface-stitch a thin cream line around the upper edge to mimic piping.
- Cart stability: If the cart leans, stitch a small clear plastic “skid” (a rectangle of plastic) under the base, or lightly stuff the interior.
- Safety: Omit wire/skewers and small buttons for toys intended for young children; embroider eyes instead of safety eyes if needed.
- Color swaps: Pastel canopy stripes also look sweet in mint/peach; keep the lettering red for readability.
