Meet the Neighborhood Pizzeria Bunny—a cheerful knit plush posed on a light wooden surface under natural, pastel lighting. The bunny wears a red pizza-cap, a cream-and-red striped T-shirt with rolled sleeves, cuffed blue “denim” shorts, cream-and-red sneakers, and a green-white checkered bandana. Accessories include a red crossbody pizza bag with “PIZZA” lettering, a removable pizza slice in a mini box, and a green-white-red soda bottle with a knitted sleeve.

Legs & Sneakers
Turn body upside-down. With Cream, pick up 8 sts for each leg from the base (16 total). Work one leg at a time.
Leg (Cream sock):
Knit 8 rnds.
Ankle: k2, k2tog twice (6). Work 2 rnds even.
Foot & Sneaker (Cream + Red):

Tail

Striped Tee (Cream & Red)
Body (in the round, boxy):
CO 76 in Cream; join.
Rnds 1–3: k1 p1 rib.
Work striping (2 rnds Red / 4 rnds Cream) repeatedly for a gentle cream-dominant stripe until body measures 1.9″ (4.8 cm).
Divide for armholes (work flat):
Split 38/38 for back and front.
Back Rows 1–8: St st in stripe sequence; BO 4 at the start of next 2 rows (30 sts remain). Work 2 rows even; hold.
Front: Work to match (30).
Shoulders/Neck:
Three-needle BO 4 sts at each shoulder; leave a modest scoop neck. Pick up around neckline with Cream; k1 p1 rib 2 rows; BO neatly.
Rolled sleeve bands:
Pick up 36 sts around each armhole with Cream; k 4 rnds plain; BO. The edges will roll outward to match the photo.
Cuffed Blue “Denim” Shorts
Legs (worked separately, then joined):
Right leg—CO 30 in Denim Blue; join and k 10 rnds; allow lower edge to roll once.
Left leg—repeat.
Join legs: Place both on one needle; CO 4 sts between legs (crotch) → 64 sts.

Waist shaping: [k6, k2tog] across → 56 sts; k 2 rnds.
Waistband: k1 p1 rib 5 rnds; BO.

Checkered Bandana (Green/White)
CO 48 in Sage; work flat.
Rows 1–4: garter (k all rows).
Begin tiny checks: [k3 Sage, k3 White] across on RS; on WS, purl following colors. Repeat color blocks for 10 rows.
Shape to triangle: On every RS row, k2tog at both ends; work WS purl plain, maintaining checks until only 6 sts remain. BO. Tie around neck with knot slightly to the left side.
Crossbody Pizza Bag (Red) with Lettering
Bag body (boxy, with flap):
CO 28 in Red; knit flat 22 rows St st (front + base + back as one long strip).
Pick up and knit 10 sts along each short side to create side panels; seam sides to form a rectangle.
Flap: From back top edge, pick up 28 sts; knit 6 rows St st; BO. Optionally add a snap under the flap.
Lettering: With White, duplicate stitch “PIZZA” in bold block caps centered on flap.
Strap: CO 3 in Red; i-cord 30 rows; BO. Attach to side seams so bag hangs at the bunny’s right hip.
Pizza Slice & Red Box
Slice (worked flat then shaped):

- Cheese (yellow): Pick up sts along the lower edge of crust (approx 12); work decrease rows:
- Row A: k across.
- Row B: p across.
- Row C: k2tog at both ends.
- Repeat Rows B–C until 4 sts; BO to a point.
- Pepperoni & basil: Duplicate stitch 2–3 red circles; add a tiny green dot.
Assemble slice: Whipstitch cheese to crust; lightly stuff for a puffy look.
Pizza box (Red):
CO 20; work 6 rows garter (lid). CO 2 extra sts on each side, work 10 rows St st (hinge + bottom); BO. Fold into a shallow box and seam corners. Duplicate stitch “PIZZA” on the front wall in White. Slice should sit inside or beside the box.
Soda Bottle Sleeve & Cap
Bottle sleeve (Green with diagonal label):

Cap cover (Cream):

Face & Finishing
- Embroider a small brown V-nose and short smile line centered between eyes.
- Light blush on cheeks for warmth.
- Weave in all ends securely on the inside of clothes and accessories.
Dressing Order
- Put on striped tee first (back seam centered).
- Slide on shorts; fold cuffs evenly and tack if needed.
- Add bandana, knot toward left shoulder.
- Fit cap low on forehead; ears stand through behind the brim.
- Position crossbody bag from left shoulder to right hip; tuck pizza slice/box inside or place beside.
- Place soda bottle as a prop or secure it in the right paw with a tiny tack stitch for photos.
- Adjust sneakers’ straps and smooth tee stripes.
Blocking & Care
Light steam garments and accessories only (avoid direct steam on the stuffed body). Shape the cap brim, tee hem, and shorts cuffs while warm. Spot-clean with cool water and mild soap. Air-dry flat. Store detachable pieces (bag, slice, bottle sleeve) separately to maintain crisp edges.
