Seat the teapot on the saucer; tack together. Place on the table in front of the bunny’s right foot to match the image.

Assembly & Finishing

  1. Attach ears atop the head ~1.25 in (3.2 cm) apart, leaning slightly inward. If using wire, insert before sewing.
  2. Sew arms just below neck line; position right arm level to hold plate; left arm relaxed to drape napkin—tack napkin to the inner wrist.
  3. Sew legs to body base with a small outward angle; add tail.
  4. Dress: put on skirt first, then cardigan; fasten knit buttons; place necklace; pop beret at a slight tilt and stitch in place if desired.
  5. Props: stitch plate to right palm; arrange teapot on saucer on the table surface; use a tiny hidden stitch to the skirt hem if you want the saucer to “kiss” the frame as in the photo.

Blocking & Photo Tips

  • Steam the skirt hem for a perfect circle; keep duplicate-stitch flowers flat.
  • Open the napkin lace with pins while steaming to show the scallops.
  • Shape the beret by steaming and gently flattening the crown, keeping the side rosette visible.
  • For the pastoral look, shoot near a window or outdoors in shade; wooden table and a pale chair behind match the scene.

Safety & Care

Everything is yarn-based. For kid-safe gifting, omit any wire in ears and stitch small parts very securely. Spot clean; do not machine wash the stuffed pieces.

Yarn Color Map (to match the photo)

  • Body: light oatmeal/cream
  • Cardigan: soft sage; knit buttons same color
  • Beret/Shoes: blush pink
  • Skirt: cream base with duplicate-stitch blossoms in rose pink and butter yellow plus sparse light-green leaves
  • Necklace: cream beads on cream I-cord
  • Napkin: ivory
  • Plate/Saucer/Teapot: pale butter
  • Macarons: mint, peach, rose with cream fillings

Troubleshooting Fit

  • If your gauge is looser, the head can enlarge quickly; reduce by skipping the final increase round on the head (work to 48 sts max).
  • If skirt flares less than shown, add one more increase round (k10, m1 around) before binding off.
  • Ballet flats too snug? Work uppers on US 5 or omit one toe-decrease repeat.
