The Tea-Room Sheep brings cozy afternoon-tea vibes to your shelf: mint vest, blush skirt, pillbox hat, proper handbag, and a tiny knitted tea set.

Materials Needed

Body (flat): CO 18 sts; work garter 30 rows (rectangle). Fold at row 15. Mattress stitch sides.
Top frame band: Pick up around opening 40–44 sts, k 3 rows; fold to inside and stitch down to create a firm rim.
Clasp bumps (no metal needed): CO 6 sts, k1 row, p1 row 4 times, roll into two tiny balls; sew centered at top.
Handle: I-cord 3 sts × 8–9 cm, attach to rim ends.

ASSEMBLY & PLACEMENT MAP
1) Head to Body
- Align neck openings; ladder stitch. Head should sit vertical with no forward lean.
2) Ears
- Fold base slightly; sew at head rnd ~7–8 from crown, about 12 sts apart; angle 10–15° downward to match photo.
3) Arms
- Attach at body rnd ~30 from cast-on (just under vest armhole height). Arms hang straight with a 5° front bias.
4) Legs
- Sew centered under body, spacing ~2.2 cm between tops. Ensure both feet point forward and sit flat.
5) Tail
- Sew low back, 4 rnds above body cast-on, pointing slightly down.
6) Face Details
- If not using safety eyes, embroider small ovals in the same placement (between rnds 18–19, 9 sts apart).
- Add tiny vertical stitch for nose and a short U-curve smile.
7) Dress the Lamb
- Slide on socks (if made), then skirt.
- Put on vest; sew on 2 mint-matching buttons to align with buttonholes.
- Fit pillbox hat on crown; secure with one invisible tack.
- Slip on shoes; tie bows.
- Hang handbag over right hand as in photo (or over forearm).
- Place knitted tray on left palm; sew a tiny hidden tack to steady. Stack saucer and cup; a dot of craft glue helps during display.
