This charming bunny captures the essence of pastel sweetness with her dreamy, tiered ombre dress knitted in fuzzy mohair to mimic the airy texture of real cotton candy.

- Yarn:

- Notions: Fiberfill stuffing, 2 large brown buttons (for cart wheels), wool roving or pom-pom maker (for cotton candy puffs), tapestry needle, embroidery floss (Pastel Blue/Pink for bib swirl, Black for eyes), raw wool or polyfill for stuffing.
Gauge & Finished Size
- Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on US 3 needles (for the body).
- Finished Size: Approximately 14 inches (36 cm) tall from shoes to the tip of the party hat.
Construction Overview
- Bunny: Worked in the round from the feet up. Legs are knitted separately and joined at the crotch. The body and head are worked as one piece. Ears and arms are sewn on.
- Ombre Dress: Worked top-down using fuzzy yarn. The color changes occur in tiers to create the gradient effect.
- Bib: Knitted flat separately and sewn or tied around the neck.
- Party Hat: Worked in the round from the brim up to the point.
- Accessories: The cart is a structured bag with button wheels; the handheld candy is a wrapped I-cord.

Legs (Make 2)
With Beige yarn and US 3 needles.
Rnd 1: CO 10 sts. Join in the round. k all.
Rnd 2: kfb in every st (20 sts).
Rnds 3–8: k all (Foot).
Rnd 9 (Heel): k10, turn. p10, turn. k10, turn. p10, turn. k all sts to end of rnd.
Rnds 10–35: k all. Stuff foot firmly and leg lightly.
Break yarn for first leg. Knit second leg but do not break yarn.
Body

“Cotton Candy” Tiered Ombre Dress
Use Fuzzy/Mohair Yarn and US 5 needles for a fluffy texture. Worked in the round top-down.
Bodice (Pink): CO 28 sts.
Rnds 1–3: k1, p1 rib.
Rnd 4 (Inc): *k2, m1* rep around (42 sts).
Rnd 5 (Armholes): k6, BO 8, k14, BO 8, k6.
Rnd 6: k6, CO 4, k14, CO 4, k6 (34 sts).
Rnds 7–12: k all in Pink.
Tier 1 (Pink):
Next Rnd: *k1, m1* rep around (68 sts).
Knit straight for 1.5 inches.
Purl 1 round (creates a definition line).
Tier 2 (Sky Blue): Change to Blue yarn.
Knit straight for 1.5 inches. (The color change creates the tier visual).
Purl 1 round.
Tier 3 (Lemon Yellow): Change to Yellow yarn.
Knit straight for 1.5 inches.
Knit 3 rounds in Garter Stitch (purl 1 rnd, knit 1 rnd). BO loosely.
Tip: After knitting, use a soft brush to gently brush the fabric to enhance the “spun sugar” fuzziness.
Swirl Bib
With White DK yarn and US 3 needles. Worked flat.
CO 14 sts.
Rows 1–4: Garter stitch.
Rows 5–14: Stockinette stitch, keeping first and last 2 sts in Garter.
Shape Bottom:
Row 15: ssk, k to last 2 sts, k2tog.
Row 16: p all.
Repeat these two rows until 6 sts remain. BO.
Decoration: Use Pastel Pink and Blue embroidery floss to stitch a large spiral/swirl in the center of the bib using chain stitch or stem stitch. Attach ties to the top corners.
Striped Party Hat
With Pink yarn (DK) and US 3 needles.
Ruffled Brim: CO 60 sts.
Rnd 1: Purl all.
Rnd 2: *k2tog* around (30 sts).
Rnd 3: k all.
Cone Body:
Join White yarn. Begin striping (2 rounds Pink, 2 rounds White).
Rnds 4–8: k all.
Rnd 9: *k4, k2tog* rep around (25 sts).
Work 4 rnds even.
Rnd 14: *k3, k2tog* rep around (20 sts).
Work 4 rnds even.
Rnd 19: *k2, k2tog* rep around (15 sts).
Work 4 rnds even.
Rnd 24: *k1, k2tog* rep around (10 sts).
Work 2 rnds even.

Cut yarn, thread through sts. Sew a small pom-pom to the tip if desired.
Pom-Pom Mary Janes
Make 2. With Pink yarn.
Sole: CO 10 sts. Knit 12 rows Garter. Round toe.
Upper: Pick up 32 sts. Join in round.
Rnds 1–3: k all.
Rnd 4: k10, (k2tog) 6 times, k10 (26 sts).
Rnd 5: BO all sts.
Finishing: Make two small white pom-poms (approx. 1 inch diameter). Sew one to the toe of each shoe.
Accessories
Cotton Candy Cart (Bag)
With Pastel Variegated or striped yarn scraps.
CO 40 sts. Join in round.
Base/Sides:
Rnds 1–15: Knit all (Stockinette).
Rnds 16–18: Purl all (Reverse Stockinette rim).
Bottom: Sew the cast-on edge closed flat.
Handle: With Pink yarn, pick up 4 sts on one side. Knit an I-cord approx. 6 inches long. Sew to the opposite side.
Wheels: Sew two large wooden buttons to the bottom sides of the bag.
Contents: Fill with balls of raw wool roving in pink and blue, or make large, loose pom-poms to resemble cotton candy bundles.
Handheld Cotton Candy
Stick: With White yarn, knit a 3-stitch I-cord for 2 inches. Do not bind off.
Candy: Switch to Pink/Blue Mohair held double.
Rnd 1: kfb in each st (6 sts).
Rnd 2: kfb in each st (12 sts).
Rnds 3–6: Knit all.
Rnd 7: k2tog around (6 sts).
Stuff tightly.
Rnd 8: k2tog around.
Cut yarn and close.
Final Assembly
- Face: Embroider the eyes with black thread. Use pink thread for a small nose.
- Dressing: Put on the dress carefully (mohair can catch). Tie the bib around the neck. Place the shoes on feet. Secure the party hat on the head (you may need a few stitches or a strap).
- Props: Place the “Cart” bag next to the bunny and tack the handheld cotton candy to one of her paws.
