Dutch Tulip Bunny – Free Crochet Pattern

Spring has sprung, and nothing captures the vitality of the season quite like this “Dutch Tulip Bunny.” Inspired by the vibrant tulip fields of the Netherlands, this pure white bunny is ready for a stroll through the garden. The design focuses on bright, contrasting colors and unique silhouettes that make it stand out in any amigurumi collection.

The bunny wears a charming outfit featuring a dark green top with a classic Peter Pan collar, paired with a voluminous burgundy skirt. The skirt is crafted in a “pumpkin” or “balloon” style, resembling an inverted tulip blossom, which adds a wonderful architectural element to the doll. She wears red Mary Jane shoes to match the warmth of her skirt. To protect her from the spring sun, she dons a vintage-inspired cream bonnet with delicate lace trim. No garden walk is complete without flowers; she carries a wicker basket filled with yellow, pink, and purple woolen tulips. Look closely, and you will spot a tiny, cute caterpillar hitching a ride on the basket handle. This pattern is full of joy and is perfect for Easter or a spring decoration.
