Vineyard Lady Cow – Free Crochet Pattern

Transport yourself to the rolling hills of the French or Italian countryside with the enchanting “Vineyard Lady Cow.” This pattern brings to life a rustic and elegant character, inspired by the traditional harvest festivals of Europe. Our subject is a charming Highland Cow, recognizable by her shaggy, warm brown coat and gentle demeanor. She is dressed in a stunning “Dirndl” style ensemble featuring a deep purple dress with a corset-style bodice, layered over a crisp white puff-sleeved blouse.

To complete her harvest look, she wears a light lilac apron and a matching triangular kerchief adorned with a grape cluster motif on her head. Her accessories are perfectly themed: she carries a woven wicker basket overflowing with fresh green and purple grapes, and for a touch of celebration, she has a miniature wine bottle and glass ready for the tasting. This heirloom-quality doll is perfect for collectors or as a centerpiece for a country-style home.

Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Gauge & Finished Size

The finished Vineyard Lady Cow stands approximately 28–30 cm (11–12 inches) tall. The gauge for the amigurumi parts (head, body, legs) should be tight to prevent stuffing from showing. The clothing can be worked with a slightly more relaxed tension for a nice drape.
