Meet the Knitting Granny Sheep, a heartwarming amigurumi character that captures the cozy spirit of a crafting afternoon. This design features a fluffy cream sheep with a textured woolly head, dressed in a lovely lavender cardigan with wooden buttons and an ivory pleated skirt with delicate lace edging. She wears earthy brown Mary Jane shoes and a vintage-style floral bonnet. To complete her look, she carries a canvas-style tote bag filled with miniature knitting needles and tiny yarn balls—the perfect companion for any fiber artist.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Gauge & Finished Size
Work tightly in continuous spiral rounds for the body parts so stuffing does not show. Using the suggested materials, the Knitting Granny Sheep measures approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall. The clothing is removable if made with the slightly larger hook size mentioned.
Construction Overview
The sheep is worked in separate pieces: head, body, legs, arms, ears, and tail. The head features a special “Bobble Stitch” section to create the textured woolly look on the scalp, while the face remains smooth. The skirt is crocheted directly onto the body (or can be made separately if preferred, but this pattern attaches it for stability). The cardigan, bonnet, and tote bag are crocheted separately as removable accessories.

Mini Accessories
- Needles: Use two toothpicks. Glue a small wooden bead to one end of each.
- Yarn Ball: Wrap scrap yarn around a small ball of stuffing or a bead until round. Glue the “needles” into the yarn ball. Place inside the tote bag.
Assembly
- Sew the Head to the Body securely. Add extra stuffing to the neck area to prevent wobbling.
- Sew the Ears to the sides of the head at roughly Rnd 10-12 (on the smooth part just before the texture begins). Fold them slightly so they droop downwards.
- Sew the Legs to the bottom of the body. Position them slightly forward so the sheep can sit comfortably, as shown in the photo.
- Sew the Arms to the sides of the body just below the neck seam.
- Dress the sheep: Pull the skirt down (if made separately), put on the cardigan and button it. Tie the bonnet under the chin.
- Place the tote bag over one arm.
Your Knitting Granny Sheep is now complete! This cozy companion brings a touch of rustic charm to any room.
