Her outfit is intricately designed to resemble a traditional European dirndl. She wears a dress featuring a crisp white puff-sleeve blouse, a black corset-style bodice with red crisscross lacing, and a full, textured red skirt. No Red Riding Hood is complete without her cape, and this rabbit wears a stunning red velvet-textured hooded cape designed with special openings for her ears.
She wears black Mary Jane shoes with lace-trimmed white socks. To complete the scene, she carries a wicker basket containing a checkered cloth and—surprise!—a tiny, harmless plush wolf toy instead of a scary big bad wolf. This pattern is perfect for intermediate crocheters who love storytelling and intricate details.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Gauge & Finished Size
Work tightly in continuous spiral rounds for the rabbit body so the stuffing does not show. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, the finished rabbit stands approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall including ears. The clothing is designed to be removable, adding an element of playability.
Construction Overview
The rabbit is constructed in pieces: head, body, legs, arms, and ears. The socks and shoes are crocheted as part of the legs to ensure a snug fit, with a ruffle added for the sock lace. The dress is removable, worked from the waist up for the bodice and waist down for the skirt. The hooded cape is a separate piece featuring slits for the ears. The basket and tiny wolf are made as separate accessories.
