The “Lavender Wand” Bunny – Free Knitting Pattern

Her wardrobe is a breath of fresh air, featuring a color story of Lavender Purple, Deep Eggplant, and Soft Pink. She wears a simple, airy Pale Lavender Dress that moves gently, like flowers in a breeze. Over this, she layers a stunning Dark Purple Gilet (Vest), which serves as a canvas for intricate hand-embroidered vines and buds. Her head is protected from the midday sun by a wide-brimmed Cream Sun Hat, lavishly decorated with a purple bow and knitted blooms. On her feet, she wears intricate Purple Strappy Sandals.

She carries a unique accessory: a knitted representation of a traditional Lavender Wand, shaped like a club and spiraled with pink ribbon. Resting lightly on this wand is a gentle Pale Yellow Butterfly, drawn to the imagined scent.

  • Lavender Dress: Worked flat from the bottom up with a simple bodice and gathered skirt.
  • Embroidered Gilet: Worked flat in one piece to the armholes, then divided. The embroidery is added after knitting.
  • Sun Hat: Worked in the round starting from the crown, with rapid increases for a wide, floppy brim.
