The “Yarn Ball Bouquet” Bunny – Free Knitting Pattern

Her wardrobe celebrates the vibrant, juicy colors of a berry harvest. She wears a cozy Long-Sleeved Sweater featuring cheerful horizontal stripes in Strawberry Red, Raspberry Pink, and Blueberry Purple. To ground these bright hues, she layers a neutral Beige Pinafore Dress over the top, giving her a practical, crafty look. Her head is kept warm by a delightful Strawberry Pink Bonnet, which features two large, playful Pom-Poms on the sides, adding to her sweetness. On her feet, she wears deep Raspberry Mary Janes.

However, the true charm lies in her accessories. Instead of flowers, she proudly holds a “Bouquet” of Mini Yarn Balls on stems. Accompanying her is a hilarious little Sheep, who is looking at the yarn bouquet with a slightly “worried” expression, perhaps wondering if that was his coat just yesterday!

Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Face Details (The “Worried” Look):

Use White thread to embroider eyes.

Crucial Step: Embroider small, slanted eyebrows above the eyes using white or grey thread. Slant them upwards in the center (like an inverted ‘V’) to create a concerned expression, as if the sheep is looking at the yarn bouquet and thinking, “Is that my cousin?”

Final Assembly

  • Face: Embroider bright, creative eyes on the bunny. Use berry-colored thread for a nose.
  • Dressing: Put on the striped sweater. Layer the beige pinafore over it. Put on the raspberry shoes. Place the pom-pom bonnet on the head.
  • Props: Place the yarn ball bouquet in the bunny’s arm (you may need to tack it with a stitch). Position the sheep by her feet, angled to look up at the bouquet.
