Bubble Tea Bunny is a sweet little knitted bunny doll dressed in a pastel “BOBA” sweater, lavender boba-skirt, mint beanie with a straw on top, and matching mint sneakers. She carries a tiny bubble tea cup, a crossbody bubble tea bag, and a little knitted smartphone – perfect for tea dates and photos.

Gauge & Finished Size
- Gauge: About 28 sts and 36 rows = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette in the round, knit tightly so stuffing does not show through.
- Finished height: Approx. 8.5–9 in (22–23 cm) standing, using DK yarn and suggested needles.
Exact gauge is not critical, but a firm fabric is important.
General Notes
- Stuff the bunny firmly as you go, especially the head and feet so she stands nicely.
- Use long tail cast-on where possible; tails are useful for sewing.
- Color changes are kept on the back.
- Facial embroidery and “BOBA” lettering are worked at the end with duplicate stitch.
- Feel free to adjust length of limbs by adding or removing a few rounds.

Straw on Top
Using CC3 and 3–4 stitches, pick up a small cluster at the very top of the hat and knit an i-cord:

Shape it so it stands mostly upright like a straw.
Bubble Tea Cups (Handheld & Crossbody)
Basic Cup (Make 2)
Work in the round.

Straws
For each cup, using CC3, CO 3 sts and work a short i-cord (about 0.6 in / 1.5 cm). Sew one straw to the top center of each lid, angled slightly.
Crossbody Cup Bag
Take one cup and sew it lightly to the bunny’s front at hip level.
Using CC3, knit or crochet a simple cord (i-cord or chain) long enough to go from one side of the cup, over the shoulder, to the other side. Sew ends to the sides of the cup so it hangs like a crossbody bag.

Row 10: k across
BO. Weave in ends.
With a tiny scrap of pale pink, embroider a small heart icon near one corner on the RS.
Face & “BOBA” Lettering
Using CC4 (brown) and a tapestry needle:
- Eyes: Place two small horizontal stitches about halfway down the head, spaced evenly.
- Nose & mouth: Work a small upside-down triangle for the nose, then a short vertical stitch and two tiny curves for the smile.
- On the sweater front, use duplicate stitch to spell “BOBA” in block capitals across the chest, centered. Each letter should be about 3–4 sts high to look bold and readable.
Assembly
- Attach ears: Fold each ear base slightly and sew to the top sides of the head, leaning slightly outward.
- Sew arms: Position arms at the sides of the body where the cream sweater begins. Stitch securely so they can slightly move.
- Attach legs: Pin legs to the base of the body, checking that the bunny stands. Stitch around the top of each leg, going through the body fabric several times.
- Tail: Sew the tail centered on the lower back to help with balance.
- Dress the bunny: Slide the lilac skirt up from the feet to the waist. The waistband should sit just under the sweater hem. Tack the waistband to the body at a few points so it does not spin.
- Hat: Place the mint beanie on the head, adjusting so the straw sits centered. You can leave it removable or secure with a few hidden stitches.
- Accessories:
- Sew the handheld bubble tea cup into one paw so it angles naturally.
- Ensure the crossbody cup bag strap sits diagonally across the sweater.
- Stitch the smartphone flat on the table in your display, or lightly tack it to the other paw or beside her foot if you want it attached.
Fluff the stuffing, smooth the stitches, and trim any stray ends.
Customization Ideas
- Change the lettering to “TEA” or the name of your favorite drink.
- Knit the skirt in different pastel shades and mix the boba dot colors.
- Add tiny safety eyes if you prefer, making sure they are well-secured and not for under-3s.
