Props: Honey Jar, Envelopes, Quill

  • Inkwell & quill: knit a tiny 8-st tube, stuff; attach a white felt/knit feather.

Finishing & Assembly

  1. Face details: embroider peach nose and small mouth; add a single backstitch smile.
  2. Attach ears: sew each ear’s pleated base to the head sides so ears droop gently.
  3. Join arms & legs: stitch arms slightly forward; legs under the body base; test the standing posture before securing firmly.
  4. Dress: put on blouse (back opening), then pinafore; fasten strap buttons.
  5. Shoes: thread straps and secure with a tiny knot or hidden stitch.
  6. Cap & bag: set cap low over the forehead; sling post bag across body.
  7. Stage props: place honey jar and envelopes at bunny’s feet for the cozy postie vignette.

Practical Tips for a Realistic, Photo-Ready Look

  • Work at a firm tension so stuffing never peeks through; even stitches are the secret to that “real product” finish.
  • Steam-block clothing lightly (not the bunny body) to relax hems and collar.
  • When stuffing the head, massage the cheeks downward to preserve the slightly tapered, slender face seen in the image.
  • Keep ear fabric unstuffed for drape; you can run a single couching stitch near the hat line to control the flop direction.
