17) Blocking & Finishing

  • Smooth skirt hem evenly and align duplicate-stitch motifs; keep lines taut on WS.
  • Shape hoodie hood and cuff ribs; curve cap brim over a mug while cooling.
  • Trim all ends; secure knots on WS.
  • Lightly brush the cotton-candy cloud for realistic fluff; keep away from heat.

18) Measurements to Match the Photo

  • Head circumference: ~8.25″ (21 cm); ear length: 3.25″ (8.3 cm).
  • Torso length from neck pick-up to skirt waist: 2.2″ (5.6 cm).

  • Hoodie body length from hem to neckline: 2.35″ (6 cm); sleeve from armhole: 1.6″ (4 cm).

  • Shoe sole: 1.65–1.75″ (4.2–4.5 cm).
  • Purse body: 1.6″ × 1.2″ (4.1 × 3 cm); strap: 10–11″ (25–28 cm).
  • Lifebuoy outer diameter: ~0.9″ (2.3 cm).

19) Troubleshooting

  • Hood too snug: pick up +4 sts around neckline and add 2 more rib rows.
  • Skirt flares unevenly: re-block; add a hidden elastic thread through waistband if needed.
  • Cap rides up: knit rib band to 10 rows instead of 8, or reduce crown decreases one step later.
  • Shoes gape at instep: whipstitch shoe edges to ankle on the inside; tighten i-cord strap slightly.
  • Motifs ripple: work duplicate stitch only after blocking; keep floats on WS minimal by catching every 6–7 sts.

20) Styling Notes

Pose the bunny on a wood surface with warm window light. Scatter binoculars and bottle near the feet, and keep the cotton-candy cloud in the foreground to showcase crisp stitch definition and the playful seaside arcade theme.
