Construction Overview
- Bunny is worked mostly in the round from toes upward: legs → join for body → neck → head. Arms, ears, tail are knit separately and sewn on. Facial details are embroidered.
- Dress is knit top-down in the round with attached bib and spotted skirt (spots via duplicate stitch).
- Cardigan is knit flat, raglan from top down; Peter Pan collar worked on afterwards.
- Beret is knit in the round from brim to crown.
- Mary Janes are knit flat then seamed; strap closes with a tiny button loop (or stitch).
- Teapot handbag and tea trolley props are small knits sewn and stuffed lightly.
Work at a firm gauge so stuffing doesn’t show.

Teapots & Cups
- Teapot (duck-egg): CO 10 in round; kfb around (20); k 3 rnds; k2tog around (10); stuff; draw closed; add a 3-st i-cord spout (6 rows), 3-st i-cord handle (8 rows), and a tiny 6-st “lid.”

Arrange on trolley: teapot + cups lower shelf, scones and tiny jars upper shelf.
Assembly
- Block lightly if needed (avoid heavy steam on stuffed parts).
- Sew ears to head; tilt slightly outward with a soft droop.
- Attach arms at shoulder line; angle forward so hands can “push” the trolley.
- Sew tail on back.
- Dress bunny in the pinafore, close back, cross straps to bib and secure.
- Put on cardigan, button closed.
- Pop the beret between ears, tilted to the right; add a hidden tack if displaying permanently.
- Slip on Mary Janes.
- Place teapot handbag in the left hand (or stitch to paw). Position trolley by the right side with one paw touching the handle.
Finishing & Customization
- Spots: keep them tidy by weaving tails on the WS; space them consistently for a classic polka-dot look.
- Expression: small satin-stitch eyes and a peachy nose make a gentle smile.
- Safety: if gifting to young children, skip beads/wire; embroider details and secure everything firmly.
- Palette tweaks: swap blush for lavender or earl-grey blue; keep cream cardi and beret for the tea-room vibe.
- Cardigan badge: duplicate-stitch a tiny square “tea bag” patch on the left chest as in the photo concept.
- Pose: a few invisible stitches at wrists keep hands aligned with the trolley handle for display photos.
