Bonjour from the pastry counter! This sweet little baker wears a puff-sleeve blouse, checked pleated skirt, pink apron, and ballerina flats, topped with a classic chef’s toque. Accessories include a macaron-tower crossbody bag, a tray of tiny tarts, a soft piping bag, and a whisk. Work at a firm toy gauge so the silhouette stays crisp and the accessories hold their shape.

Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Blocking & Styling Tips

  • Light steam the pleats while pinched to set crisp folds.
  • Shape the Peter Pan collar and sleeve puffs with a gentle hand; let cool before moving.
  • Curve the toque crown by stuffing with a rolled washcloth while steaming.
  • Pinch the T-strap knots on shoes so they sit centered.
  • For photos, let the tail curl in a soft S for balance and place the tray slightly forward for depth.

Fit Tweaks

  • If your gauge runs loose, stop head increases at 48 sts and remove the first belly increase (stay at 48 before Rnd 11) to keep proportions.
  • Want a longer skirt? Add 1–2 more pleat repeats before the hem ridge.
  • For wider shoes, knit uppers on US 5 or skip the last toe-decrease repeat.
  • Prefer a more dramatic puff sleeve? Add 2 plain rounds before the cuff shaping.
