Blocking, Styling & Safety
- Steam the cuffed shorts so both cuffs sit at equal height.

- Pinch the scarf knot while steaming for a tidy triangle.
- If gifting to a child, omit any wire and tack small props securely. Spot clean only.
Fit Tweaks
- If your gauge runs loose, skip the final head increase (stop at 48 sts) and omit one belly decrease to keep proportions similar.
- Want roomier shoes? Work uppers on US 5 or reduce one toe-decrease repeat.
- For a higher-waist short, add 2–3 rnds before the leg split.
