Pick up sts around the perimeter and knit 1 rnd; BO to create a neat rim.

Saucer: With Cream, CO 8, kfb around → 16; 1 rnd k; BO.
“Coffee”: embroider a small brown circle inside cup.

ASSEMBLY & PLACEMENT MAP

  1. Close head crown and shape cheeks, ensuring the neck is densely stuffed.
  2. Attach ears spanning Rnds 46–48 of head with a slight backward tilt so tips lean naturally.
  3. Sew arms to body at Rnds 20–21 from leg join, angled to hold accessories (right hand slightly inward for macaron, left hand palm up for tray).
  4. Dress the bunny:
    • Slide skirt up from feet; overlap back slit 0.5–1 cm; add two hidden snaps or whipstitch closed permanently.
    • Put on shoes; secure with a few invisible stitches through soles.
    • Add cardigan; close three bow buttons.
  5. Accessories placement:
    • Tie the cream scarf under the chin, knot centered.
    • Position the macaron clutch loop around the right paw; tack to palm.
    • Stitch tray edge lightly to the left paw; fix cup to tray.
  6. Face map:
    • Eyes: Rnds 38–39, 8 sts apart.
    • Nose top at Rnd 36; mouth split on Rnd 35.
  7. Beret: set slightly tilted to the right; tack at three points so it doesn’t shift, making sure the teacup motif faces forward.

FINISHING

Blocking & Tidying

  • Light steam the skirt hem so the rib “ghost” reads as soft pleats; avoid flattening the entire fabric.
  • Steam the beret dome gently; keep the brim edge elastic.
  • Check button bands lie flat; re-block if curling.
  • Weave in all ends securely; trim neatly on the inside.

Safety & Care

  • For small children, embroider eyes instead of using safety eyes and secure/removable accessories firmly.
  • Spot clean only; avoid machine washing which may distort tiny pieces.

QUICK REFERENCE COUNTS

  • Head: up to 36 sts; decrease to 6.
  • Body waist: 18 sts; neck 12.
  • Leg: 10 → 14 → 6.
  • Arm: 8 → 10 → 8 (closed flat).
  • Skirt hem: CO 96; waist finish after shaping + slit.
  • Cardigan body CO: 64; sleeves PU 34 each.
  • Beret rib CO: 60 (increase to 80).
