Basket body (oval, in the round)
- CO 8; k flat 2 rows. Pick up around rectangle to form an oval of ≈24 sts; join.
- Work seed stitch (k1, p1 across, shift by 1 on next rnd) for 6–7 rnds to mimic wicker.
- Rim: one rnd k tbl; then one rnd I-cord bind-off (CO 3 on right needle and work I-cord BO) for a rolled rim.
Handles (make 2)
- I-cord CO 3; knit 8–10 rows; attach opposite sides.
Flowers - Daisy: With yellow, CO 6, join; k 2 rnds; BO for a mini disc. With white, CO 6, BO to make simple petals; sew around disc.
