Clothing is removable: blouse (worked flat then seamed with a Peter Pan collar), layered cupcake dress (three ruffle tiers on a fitted yoke), beret, Mary Janes with pompom, plus three accessories: croissant crossbody, macaron box, and a small backpack with a whisk.

Round 3 (shaping): (hdc, 2 dc in next st, dc, hdc, sl st) repeat 6 times to form two rounded collar halves; keep center-front gap of 2–3 sts unworked so the collar tips don’t meet. Fasten off.

R2: (2 sc, inc) around [40]
R3: (3 sc, inc) around [50]
R4–R5: sc around [50], finish and weave.

Mary Jane Shoes (B with E pompoms)
If you made legs as above, the shoes are already formed. If you prefer removable shoes, repeat Sole–Upper instructions without attaching the leg, then sew pompoms and use the strap to secure around the ankle.
ACCESSORIES
Croissant Crossbody (D, 3.0 mm)
Panel (make 2):
R1: MR 6 sc [6]
R2: (sc, inc) x3 [9]
R3: (2 sc, inc) x3 [12]
R4: sc around [12]
R5: (3 sc, inc) x3 [15]
R6: sc around [15]
R7: (4 sc, inc) x3 [18]
Fasten first panel; do not cut second.
Layered Folds: With D, embroider three curved lines horizontally to mimic croissant lamination (surface crochet sl sts).
Join: Place two panels WS together, sc around to join, lightly stuff before closing.
Strap (D): ch 60–70 for a crossbody length; sl st back along chain for sturdiness; attach to top corners. Add a tiny button or loop if you want it functional (optional slit opening at top by leaving 6 sts unjoined during join round).

Macaron Box (B with E “macarons”)
Box Base (B):
R1: ch 10, sc in 2nd ch, 7 sc, 3 sc in last; turn to other side 7 sc, inc [20]
R2: sc around in BLO to form walls [20]
R3–R5: sc around [20]; fasten.
Lid (B):

R2: sc around in BLO [20]
R3: sc around [20]; fasten leaving a long tail.
Hinge: With tail, sew one long edge of lid to back edge of base to open/close.
Macarons (E + B scraps, make 3):
With E for shells: MR 6 sc; R2: inc x6 [12]; R3: sc around [12]; fasten. Make two shells per macaron. Sandwich a tiny ring of B (or any pastel) between shells as “filling,” whipstitch 3 sides only so you can peek inside. Place them in the box.
Mini Backpack with Whisk (C + E)
Back (C):
R1: ch 9; Row1: sc in 2nd ch and across [8]
Rows 2–8: ch 1, turn, sc across [8] (square).
Front Pocket: Ch 7; sc 6 for 3 rows; sew to front.
Sides/Bottom: ch 24; sc 2 rows to create a long strip; whipstitch around the back panel to form a shallow pack.
Flap: ch 9; Row1: sc 8; Row2–4: sc across; Row5: (sc 2, dec) x2 [6]; Row6: sc; add a button loop (ch 6).
Straps: ch 20 each, sl st back; sew top/bottom like backpack straps.
Whisk (E + toothpick core or yarn only): surface-crochet a little spiral “wire” shape and stitch it sticking out from one side pocket. For safety, avoid hard cores if for children; make the whisk entirely from yarn twists.
ASSEMBLY
- Head & Ears
Pin ears symmetrically: base begins ~R3–R4 from the crown, tilting forward slightly. Sew securely with beige tails. Attach head to body: pin the head sphere onto the body opening; ladder stitch around the neck base, adding extra stuffing as you close to prevent wobble. - Arms
Position arms at sides aligned with the lower third of the head, with cuffs facing forward and a slight downward slant. Sew through the unstuffed top two rounds so the arms swing naturally. - Legs
Place legs under the body with 1–2 sts gap; check balance so the doll stands when propped. Sew around the body’s bottom opening or to R20 if you left it open; reinforce. - Dress & Blouse
Dress yoke goes on first, ruffle tiers cascading like frosting. Put blouse over it or under it depending on look—image shows blouse under dress with collar lying above dress neckline. Close blouse back with a small button or tie. Embroider tiny rose dots on blouse front panel to mimic “sugar sprinkles.” - Shoes
Secure straps across the instep and stitch a pompom to each toe. - Beret
Set the beret slightly off-center (right tilt). You may add a hidden bobby-pin stitch (a couple of tacks) so it stays jaunty. - Accessories
Drape the croissant crossbody from left shoulder to right hip. Strap on the mini backpack; angle a soft yarn “whisk” so it peeks out. Place the macaron box in one hand (stitch a tiny thread through the palm if you want it permanently “held”).
FINISHING & CUSTOMIZATION
- Face details: With F, add a tiny single stitch at the inner corner of each eye for sparkle; with G, embroider a petite inverted-triangle nose and two short vertical stitches for a smile.
- Cheeks: Lightly brush a strand of rose yarn through the cheek area and fluff, or use a dab of dry pastel chalk.
- Ruffle shaping: Steam-block the three tiers from the underside for airy volume; keep the yoke flat.
- Beret drape: Steam and press the crown, then pinch the band so it hugs one ear.
- Secure for play: If gifting to a child, stitch the beret and accessories to the body to avoid small, loose parts. Replace safety eyes with embroidered eyes if under 3 years old.
- Color swaps: Stay in pastel bakery tones for the “pâtisserie” vibe: pistachio, lavender, or lemon for alternate dresses; caramel or chocolate for the croissant; mint or lilac macaron fillings.
