Introduction
Say hello to the Cat City Cyclist—a camera-ready amigurumi cat sporting a striped sunset tee, teal skater skirt, charcoal capris with reflective details, a ribbed beanie, slate sneakers, and a tiny messenger bag carrying a folded city map. This pattern is drafted to match the photo precisely so your finished plush looks the same on shelf and on screen.

Finishing Touches / QC
- Face alignment: eyes sit between Head Rnds 16–17 with 10–11 sts spacing; muzzle centered and lightly stuffed; nose tiny and round; whiskers even.
- Ears: symmetrical angle; beanie sits between them without covering tips.
- Outfit accuracy: cream/orange stripes match counts; skirt hem smooth and level; capris reflectors visible; bag flap closed with bead; map peeking out.
- Footwear: toe caps clean; laces neat bow; white foxing/reflective details consistent on both shoes.
- Proportions: head ≈ slightly larger than body segment (about 1.05 : 1 by height); skirt length just above knee line of capris.
Pattern Notes
- Keep fabric tight (no gaps). Use a stitch marker to track the first stitch of each rnd.
- Stuff gradually; compress the head sides lightly to maintain the round-cube silhouette when closing.
- Use invisible decreases for smooth shaping.
- For very loose crocheters, drop to a 2.5 mm hook for the head to keep size consistent; or remove one plain rnd from head/body to maintain height.
- Weave ends carefully on striped tee to avoid show-through at color transitions.
- Photos often love a small tilt of the beanie and bag strap laid diagonally; tack in place if the doll will be handled.
