Her color palette is fresh and appetizing, featuring Soft Gooseberry Green, Pastel Pink, and Clean White. She wears a lovely Green Dress, the hem of which is delicately embroidered with darker green gooseberries, celebrating the fruit of the season. To keep her dress spotless while she cooks, she wears a crisp White Pinafore Apron featuring adorable heart-shaped pockets. Her head is covered by a Pink Gingham Kerchief tied in a practical “Babushka” style, and she wears matching Green Shoes.
She is prepared for her work with a knitted Jam Jar, complete with a fabric-style lid and a handwritten label. Her companion is a playful White Goose wearing a pink bow—a whimsical nod to the “Goose” in “Gooseberry.”

Construction Overview
- Bunny: Worked in the round from the feet up. Legs are knitted separately, then joined to form the hips. The body and head are one continuous piece. Arms and ears are knitted separately and sewn on.
- Green Dress: Worked flat. The skirt provides a canvas for the berry embroidery.
- Heart Pinafore: A white apron with a bib and straps. The heart pockets are knitted separately and sewn on.
- Gingham Kerchief: A triangular piece. The gingham effect is best achieved by knitting in plain pink and embroidering white grid lines afterwards for a clean look.
