The Macaron Baker – Free Crochet Pattern

This lovely cream-colored rabbit features tall, perky ears and a gentle expression. She is dressed in a magnificent tiered dress that resembles a tower of macarons, featuring layers of Baby Pink, Mint Green, and Lilac Purple. Covering her shoulders is a delicate, lacy white bolero jacket that adds an air of refinement.

She steps out in dainty lilac ballet flats. Her accessories are just as sweet: she holds a giant strawberry macaron, carries a luxurious cylindrical gift box, and is accompanied by a pristine white Poodle with a fluffy, aristocratic coat. A small macaron hair clip (optional) adds the final touch to her ensemble. This pattern is designed for intermediate crocheters who love playing with color changes and creating texture.

Construction Overview

The rabbit is constructed in pieces. The legs are made first and joined to form the body. The head is a modified sphere. The dress is the showstopper: it is worked from the waist down with a base layer, and three ruffled tiers are attached to the front loops. The lace bolero is worked flat. The poodle uses bobble stitches for texture.
