Get ready to light up your holiday season with the most adorable decoration in the house! “The Christmas Tree Puppy” is a festive, fun, and incredibly cute amigurumi project that combines the love of dogs with the magic of a Christmas tree. This pattern is designed to bring a smile to everyone’s face, featuring a pure white puppy who has decided to dress up as the centerpiece of the holiday celebration.
This playful character features snow-white fur that perfectly contrasts with her vibrant outfit. She is wearing a spectacular three-tiered Emerald Green dress, designed to mimic the layers of a fir tree. Each tier of the skirt is meticulously crocheted to flare out, and then hand-embellished with multi-colored beads representing sparkling ornaments. Around her neck, she wears a detachable collar of shimmering gold, adding a touch of elegance. The crowning glory is her headband, which features a large, bright Yellow Star perched right on top of her head, just like a real Christmas tree topper. She wears festive red shoes and carries a silver tinsel garland and a red gift box. Her companion for the holidays is a tiny squirrel, holding onto a precious silver-wrapped chestnut. This pattern is perfect for intermediate crocheters looking for a unique holiday project.

Construction Overview
The puppy is constructed in pieces. The head is round with a slight muzzle. The ears are floppy and sewn to the sides. The body is pear-shaped and sturdy. The dress is the most detailed part, worked from the neck down using Back Loop Only (BLO) rounds to create foundations for three separate tiers of ruffles. The star is made of two flat pieces sewn together and stuffed. Accessories are miniatures.
