This charming bovine features a classic brown and white spotted coat, giving her a warm and natural appearance. She is the ultimate bohemian fashionista, dressed in a stunning floor-length maxi dress. The dress is a masterpiece of earth tones, featuring tiered layers of Mustard Yellow, Burnt Orange, and Deep Chocolate Brown, mimicking the sunset over a desert landscape. Over her dress, she wears a breezy, open-mesh cardigan in a neutral beige, perfect for those cool evenings by the campfire.
Her accessories define her style: a delicate flower crown of wild daisies rests on her head, and her hooves are adorned with intricate gladiator-style sandals that lace up her legs. She carries a suede-style bag with long fringe details, essential for holding her treasures. In her hands, she strums a miniature ukulele, ready to play a folk song. Her travel companion is a large, friendly Ladybug, a symbol of good luck on her journey. This pattern is perfect for intermediate crocheters who love color changing and creating detailed, layered outfits.

Gauge & Finished Size
Work tightly in continuous spiral rounds for the cow body so the stuffing does not show. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, the finished cow stands approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall. The dress is designed to be long and flowy, reaching the ankles.
Construction Overview
The cow is constructed in pieces. The legs are made first and joined to form the body. The head is a sphere with a distinct color change for the blaze. The maxi dress is the highlight, worked waist-down in expanding tiers to create volume. The cardigan is worked in rows using a mesh stitch. The sandals are soles with long chains for lacing. The accessories—ukulele, bag, and ladybug—are detailed miniatures.
