This delightful heifer features a classic white coat patterned with warm chocolate brown spots, giving her a natural and endearing look. Her fashion sense is effortlessly chic, inspired by timeless French style. She wears a crisp Blue and White Striped Dress that evokes the feeling of a Breton shirt, paired with a vibrant Red Silk Scarf tied jauntily at her neck for a pop of color.
To complete the look, she wears a classic Black Beret tilted perfectly to the side and comfortable Brown Loafers for standing on her hooves all day. She is fully equipped for her trade, carrying a freshly baked Baguette in a paper bag and holding a buttery, golden Croissant. Her companion is a proud and colorful Rooster with a magnificent tail, waking the village up for fresh bread every morning. This pattern is perfect for intermediate crocheters who enjoy colorwork and creating detailed, themed accessories.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Gauge & Finished Size
Work tightly in continuous spiral rounds for the cow body so the stuffing does not show. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, the finished cow stands approximately 28–30 cm (11–12 inches) tall. The clothing is designed to be removable, allowing for dress-up play.
Construction Overview
The cow is constructed in pieces. The head is round with a sewn-on muzzle. The body is pear-shaped and sturdy, formed by joining the legs. To achieve the “spotted” look, you will use tapestry crochet techniques to switch between White and Brown on the head and legs. The dress uses color changes for the stripes. The beret is worked in a flat circle that curls under. The accessories—baguette, croissant, and rooster—are detailed miniatures.
