The Strawberry Bear – Free Crochet Pattern

This adorable bear features traditional chocolate-brown fur and a cute, rounded muzzle. She is dressed to impress in a white A-line dress speckled with embroidered red polka dots, layered with a chic dark green bolero jacket to keep the breeze away. To protect her from the sun, she wears a trendy beige bucket hat topped with a playful plush strawberry. Her look is completed with comfortable strappy sandals. Of course, no harvest is complete without accessories: she carries a crossbody strawberry bag, a jar of fresh strawberry jam, and is accompanied by a tiny, buzzing bumblebee friend. This pattern is designed for intermediate crocheters who love detailed outfits and miniature props.

Construction Overview

The bear is constructed in pieces: head, muzzle, ears, legs, body, and arms. The legs are joined to create the body. The outfit consists of a dress (worked waist-down and waist-up), a separate bolero jacket worked in rows, and a bucket hat. Accessories are made separately.
