
Roller Disco Puppy is a fun amigurumi dog wearing a teal crop top, lilac pleated skirt, yellow roller skates with pink details, a lilac safety helmet, a yellow-and-pink backpack, and a tiny music player with matching headphones.

Optional: a tiny bit of blush for cheeks.
Gauge & Finished Size
- About 8–9 sc per 1″ (2.5 cm) in the round.
- Finished puppy is approximately 9–10″ (23–25 cm) tall including helmet and skates.
Tension should be tight so stuffing does not show.
Construction Overview
Roller Disco Puppy is built in sections: legs, body, arms, head, ears, tail. Skates can be removed but are shaped to fit over the legs. Clothes and accessories are all separate: crop top, pleated skirt, helmet with chin strap, backpack, roller skates, headphones, and music player.
Stuff as you go and shape each part firmly but not rock-hard.

With dark brown, embroider or sew on a small oval nose at the top center of the muzzle and a simple smile line under it.
Place the muzzle centered between the eyes and slightly lower; sew all around.

Flatten and slightly fold the base when sewing so they droop down like in the photo.
Tail

Assembly: Body Base
- Sew head onto body using the body tail, aligning the neck opening with the base of the head.
- Sew arms to sides of body just below neck, angled slightly forward.
- Attach ears to sides of head, about 3–4 rounds from top, letting them curve under helmet later.
- Sew tail to center back near bottom.
Base puppy is ready for clothing and gear.
Roller Skates (make 2)
Each skate is a boot with four wheels.
Boot Sole
Using pink:

Slide boot over the lower leg; it should cover the hoof. You can sew it in place or leave removable.
Wheels (4 per skate, 8 total)
Pink:

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Make 8 discs, lightly stuff or flatten.
Sew four wheels along the sides of the sole: two on each side close to front and back edges, positioned so the skate stands flat. Repeat for other skate.
Skate Straps
With yellow, embroider two short horizontal bands over the toe area, and with pink stitch small faux buckles or laces on the front to match the picture.
Pleated Lilac Skirt
Lilac:
Ch 54, join with sl st to form a ring (be careful not to twist).
R1: ch 1, sc in each ch around, join (54)
R2: ch 1, BLO sc around (54) – waistband foundation
R3 (start pleats): (sc 2, dc 1 in same st) rep around, join. (54 sts, alternating sc and dc; dc will pop out slightly)
R4–7: Work sc in sc sts and dc in dc sts from previous round to maintain vertical ribs/pleats (54).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
The skirt should sit at the puppy’s waist; pull up over hips and adjust pleats evenly.
Teal Crop Top
Work bottom-up.
Teal:
Ch 42 (fit loosely around chest).
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (41).
Rows 2–6: ch 1, turn, sc across (41).
Bring short ends together, sew or sl st to create a tube.
Turn so seam is at back.
Neck & Arm Edging
With lilac, join yarn at top edge.
Neck round: ch 1, sc evenly around top opening, join (approx 41). Fasten off.
For sleeves, mark about 10 sts on each side as arm openings.
Join lilac under one arm:
Sleeve edging: ch 1, sc around arm opening (about 10 sts), join, fasten off.
Repeat on other side.
For hem trim, with lilac:
Join at lower edge, ch 1, sc around, join, fasten off.
The top should be slightly cropped, leaving a small gap of belly between top and skirt.
Helmet
Helmet is lilac with white stripes and gray chin strap.

Helmet Stripes
With white, surface crochet 2 narrow vertical stripes along the top front of the helmet (from front edge toward crown) to match image.
Chin Strap
With gray:
Attach yarn at one side under ear opening.
ch enough to go under chin to the other side (about 12–14 ch). Sl st to opposite side under other ear.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Backpack
Backpack is yellow with pink front panel and dark border.
Body
Yellow:
R1: ch 9.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch and across (8).
Rows 2–8: ch 1, turn, sc across (8).
You now have a small rectangle.
Work around edge:
R9: ch 1, sc evenly around all four sides, placing 3 sc in each corner, join with sl st.
Repeat one more round for thickness. Fasten off.
Front Panel
Pink:
Ch 7.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch and across (6).
Rows 2–6: ch 1, turn, sc across (6).
Fasten off. Sew centered on one large face of the backpack.
With darker color, embroider a small rectangle inside for “pocket screen”.
Straps & Handle
With pink:
- For each shoulder strap, ch 16.
Sew one end near top of backpack back and the other near bottom, repeating for other side so it can sit on puppy’s shoulders.
With yellow:
- For handle, ch 8, sew both ends to top of backpack.
Headphones & Music Player
Music Player
Teal:
R1: ch 9.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch and across (8).
Rows 2–6: ch 1, turn, sc across (8).
Fasten off. Work one round of sc around entire rectangle for a neat edge.
With yellow, crochet or embroider a square “screen” centered on the front.
With brown or dark color, add a small circle or square “button” under the screen.
Headphones
Ear Pads (make 2)
Pink:
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)

Fasten off.
Gray:
Work one round of sc on back loops of pad to create a rim, or simply embroider a border.
Headband
Gray:
Ch 20–22 (measure across puppy’s head).
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch and across. Fasten off.
Sew one ear pad to each end of the band, slightly angled inward.
Cord
Teal:
Ch desired length (long enough from player to one ear pad).
Sew one end to bottom of one ear pad and the other to the side of the player.
Position headphones near the puppy or hang around neck.
Final Dressing & Styling
- Put the teal top on the puppy, seam at back.
- Slide pleated skirt up over legs to sit at waist.
- Slip skates on each foot and adjust wheels so the puppy stands steadily.
- Place helmet on head, pull ears through side openings, and position chin strap.
- Put backpack straps over shoulders so it rests on the back.
- Set music player and headphones on the table near the puppy or arrange so puppy “holds” the player.
