Assembly
- Dress order: put tutu onto the body (waist seam sits just above hips). Tie on the wrap shrug crossing at front.
- Sew head to body using the body tail; add stuffing into the neck as you close to keep the head stable.
- Sew arms at Body Rnds 15–16, slightly forward so the left hand can cradle the bouquet.
- Sew tail at back R8–9.
- Put on ballet flats, wrap the laces around ankles and tie neatly.
- Place the headband with bow centered high; tack a stitch behind each ear if the band shifts.
- Secure bouquet to left hand with a couple of hidden stitches.
- Stage the boombox and rosin bottle nearby (or stitch to palms if gifting to a child).
Finishing & Fit Notes
- Tutu fullness: if you want extra bounce, add a third loop-stitch round. If too bulky, switch to a 2.75 mm hook for skirt only.
- Loop size: keep loops consistent (3–4 cm). After finishing, lightly steam from distance and pat the loops to uniform curls—do not press.
- Shrug length: ends should cross once and tie at the side. If short, add 1–2 rows at center before attaching ties.
- Bow scale: photographed bow is bold; keep bow panel 4 rows of dc. Make the center wrap tight so it puffs.
- Standing balance: you can glue or stitch a coin under each shoe insole (cover with a felt circle) for more stability.
Safety & Care
If gifting to small children, embroider the eyes and secure or omit small accessories (bouquet, bottle). Hand wash cold, reshape, and air dry. Avoid high heat or vigorous brushing of the loop tutu.
