Construction Overview

Work the head, ears, body, arms, legs/feet separately and sew. The jogger pants are removable. The windbreaker is crocheted flat with set-in sleeves; reflective stripes are single rounds in pale gray; a small zip-front placket is simulated with surface slip stitches and a tiny rectangle as the zipper pull. The bucket hat is fully reversible (yellow outer/green inner). Accessories are crocheted and lightly stuffed: backpack with rolled mat, flashlight, folded map, water bottle, and snack pouch.

  • Safety note: secure small accessories tightly or omit for children under 3.

Customization Ideas

  • Reverse the hat: Wear it green-side out for a fresh trail look.
  • Weather swap: Add a removable micro-scarf (gray) for “cold day” photos.
  • Sneaker laces: Surface stitch two short zigzags on each shoe.
  • Map pocket: Sew a small interior sleeve in the jacket to store the folded map.
