The blouse is worked flat top-down and seamed under the arms; pinafore is worked in a small-check gingham using linen stitch (sc, ch-1, sk-1) with color changes each stitch; shoes are built onto the legs; sunhat is in spiral with straw-like texture; accessories are quick makes.

  6. Hat: Place low on forehead so brim shades the eyes; tack with a few hidden stitches.
  7. Accessories: Hang the sling bag under the left arm with the baguette peeking out; place the lemonade cup in the right hand using a tiny stitch through the handle. Arrange the strawberry basket and napkin beside the bunny for display.

Face & Finishing Details

  • Add a single stitch of blush using faint pink pastel or a tiny dab of rouge.
  • For a realistic look, needle-shape the cheeks by pressing stuffed fiber outward.
  • Weave in all ends; steam-block the pinafore lightly to flatten the gingham checks (avoid steaming the amigurumi body).
  • Safety reminder: small parts (straw, beads, buttons) are not for children under 3.

Customization Tips

  • Pastel mood: Keep all tones warmed and desaturated to preserve the cozy lifestyle vibe.
  • Gingham size: For larger checks, switch to moss stitch with ch-1 spaces taller and use a 3.5 mm hook.
  • Shoes: Add a tiny French-knot “button” at the strap ends.
  • Hat: Work one extra brim round for a wider shade, or block the brim with a light spray of starch for crispness.

Pattern Recap (at a glance)

  • Beige bunny with oval ears, round head, tapered body, and standing feet in brown Mary Janes.
  • White puff-sleeve blouse under a red-and-white gingham pinafore with a rust pocket on the front.
